The role of the Operational Security Specialist is unique as the focus is around the technical security of ICT services rather than a hands on keyboard operations role. This role works collaboratively within theAll of Government Services Delivery the wider GCDO teams and NCSC.

It also supports the Government Chief Digital Officer (GCDO) to drive the governments digital transformation and position government to succeed in a changing and evolving digital age.
