Located in theheart of downtown Houston this beautiful over 1200 room hotel is connected to the George R. Brown Convention Center via skywalk andadjacent to both Discovery Green Park and Toyota Center home of the NBAs Houston Rockets. Our 5 team members report to the Director of Human Resources

The ideal candidate holds 2 years with Human Resources across various industries. Experience with recruitment training and compliance preferred. Hospitality experience a plus!

Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday (8:30am-5:00pm) Flexible

What will I be doing

As aHuman Resources ManagerwithHilton Houston-Americas you would be responsible for being a liaison for recruitment focusing on training development and new hire orientation. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Manages daily Human Resources operation to include but not limited to interviewing and hiring employment and recruiting training and development wage/benefit compensation team member and labor relations contract compliance disciplinary procedures safety statutory compliance recognition and reward
  • Support team member relations programs activities and initiatives to include but not limited to picnics holiday functions health fairs award banquets and special events
  • Oversee function of the data management system to include but not limited to entry of team member data recording employment transitions (i.e. hire separation leaves of absence etc.) generating reports (i.e. payroll analysis labor turnover etc.) and processing unemployment claims
  • Ensure compliance with Affirmative Action Plan and Equal Employment Opportunity guidelines and regulations
