We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Day Porter to maintain the cleanliness safety and overall appearance of our parking facilities. The ideal candidate will take pride in keeping the property welcoming and functional for customers and staff throughout the day.

Pay:$19.00 an hour

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicantsexperience skills abilities geographic locationand alignment with market data.

Shift: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of parking lots garages and surrounding areas.
Sweep remove trash and clean spills or debris from parking surfaces.
Empty and sanitize trash receptacles and cigarette disposal units.
Clean and maintain restrooms (if applicable) and common areas.
Monitor and report any safety hazards damage or maintenance needs (e.g. broken lights signage or equipment).
Assist with minor repairs and touch-ups (e.g. painting curbs replacing signage).
Provide customer assistance when needed including directions or reporting issues.
Collaborate with facility management and security to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in janitorial maintenance or porter roles is required.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs stand/walk for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Work Environment:

Outdoor and indoor parking facilities.
Exposure to weather elements and moderate physical activity.
