The Library Exhibitions program bridges research education and community by collaborating with University partners to stage exhibitions showcasing diverse research and education outcomes and special collections. The inclusive and sustainable exhibition program encompasses a variety of exhibitions and Special Collection displays with related innovative public programs.
The role will support the Exhibitions Coordinator in the creative practice and practical operations of the exhibition service including administration planning installation promotion and reporting.
The role reports to the Exhibitions Coordinator and has no direct reports.

Question 1: UNSW Library develops exhibitions in partnership with a broad range of collaborators including artists academics students and community groups. The Exhibitions Officer requires collaboration skills to work with this diverse group of stakeholders to produce interdisciplinary projects. Please outline your experience working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and provide an example of a specific project where you worked with a diverse group to deliver a result. What was your role and what was the outcome
Question 2: Exhibition and event delivery often requires lateral thinking and problem solving. Describe a time you encountered an issue (e.g. structural lighting or equipment failure) during the installation or deinstallation of an exhibition. What steps did you take to resolve it while adhering to the timeline and ensuring deadlines were met
Question 3: The Exhibitions Officer will coordinate exhibition and event promotions. Describe your experience in managing promotional content across different platforms (e.g. website social media internal newsletters). How do you ensure accurate execution across various platform specifications (such as image sizes and character limits) and how do you evaluate the effectiveness of the campaign in terms of audience engagement
