Overview
Royo Eye & Laser Center an NVISION Company is a well-established ophthalmology practice dedicated to providing comprehensive medical and surgical eye care to our patients. Our team of ophthalmologists and subspecialists performs premium cataract LASIK cornea glaucoma and retina services. We are seeking a motivated patient-focused Optometrist to join our team and work collaboratively in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive eye exams and medical optometry evaluations that are to Medicare standards for cataract surgery.
- Diagnose and manage ocular diseases including glaucoma diabetic retinopathy macular degeneration and dry eye.
- Provide pre- and post-operative care for cataract LASIK and other ophthalmic surgeries.
- Conduct urgent visits triage cases and coordinate with ophthalmologists for surgical consultation.
- Document findings accurately and thoroughly in the EMR system.
- Provide patient education on eye health treatment plans and surgical options.
- Collaborate with ophthalmologists technicians and support staff to ensure high-quality efficient patient care.
- Participate in clinical protocols staff training and continuing education as needed.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited school.
- Active CA Optometry License in good standing.
- Strong diagnostic and patient management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Team-oriented with a commitment to exceptional patient care.
