Overview
We are seeking a strategic and experiencedGlobal Payroll Manager to lead the development and governance of our international payroll operations. This role is central to managing outsourced payroll vendors (BPO) ensuring compliance and enabling local teams to deliver exceptional service to employees across France Spain India and other global locations.
The successful candidate will bring hands-on expertise withADP Workday and SD Worx and a proven ability to manage vendor relationships control scope creep and develop scalable payroll processes. This role champions aglobally standardized payroll framework while empoweringlocal teams through enablement and engagementto ensure high-quality compliant and employee-centric payroll delivery.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Global Process Ownership & Local Enablement
- Own and develop global payroll processes policies and governance frameworks.
- Ensure consistency and scalability across regions while enabling local teams to tailor delivery to meet country-specific requirements.
- Partner with regional HR and Finance teams to support local execution and employee engagement.
BPO Vendor Management & Governance
- Lead relationships with global payroll vendors (e.g. ADP SD Worx) ensuring performance against SLAs and KPIs.
- Implement structured vendor governance tocontrol BPO scope creep enforce accountability and ensure cost transparency.
- Conduct regular vendor audits performance reviews and contract evaluations.
Payroll Development & Technology Leadership
- Drive thedevelopment of payroll systems and processes ensuring they are future-ready and aligned with business needs.
- LeverageWorkdayas the core HCM system to streamline integrations and improve data accuracy.
- Champion automation digital reporting and employee self-service tools to enhance payroll delivery.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure payroll compliance with evolving legislation and statutory requirements in all jurisdictions.
- Proactively manage risks related to data privacy fraud and audit readiness.
- Maintain strong internal controls and documentation to support internal and external audits.
Strategic Reporting & Insights
- Deliver payroll analytics and insights to support labor cost forecasting budgeting and workforce planning.
- Partner with Finance and HR to align payroll data with broader business objectives.
Employee Experience & Local Team Support
- Ensure a seamless and accurate payroll experience for employees enhancing trust and retention.
- Empower and engage local payroll teams with tools training and support to deliver best-in-class service.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement across global and local payroll functions.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in global payroll management including direct oversight of BPO vendors.
- Proven experience managing payroll inFrance Spain and India.
- Hands-on experience withADPWorkday andSD Worxis essential.
- Strong understanding of international payroll compliance tax regulations and labor laws.
- Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships control costs and prevent scope creep.
- Experience leading payrolldevelopment initiativesand implementing scalable solutions.
- Excellent analytical communication and stakeholder management skills.
