Job Summary

Are you a highly organised people-focused professional with a heart for Christian education We are seeking an experienced Office Coordinator to lead the efficient operation of our Colleges administration team office and reception. This pivotal role supports the smooth day-to-day functioning of our vibrant school community and ensures a welcoming and professional front-of-house experience for students families and staff.

About the Role

As the Office Coordinator you will play a central role in the life of the College ensuring that our administrative operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will lead a team of dedicated staff oversee the General Office and College Reception and be a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. This role requires a proactive and professional individual who can manage competing priorities and uphold the values of our Christian learning environment.

This role will incorporate a component of hands-on reception and office duties as you work closely with College staff to facilitate the seamless operation of the College while fostering a culture of excellence care and service in all administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead manage and participate in the daily operations of the College Reception and General Office
  • Supervise and support a team of administrative staff fostering a collaborative and service-oriented culture
  • Ensure efficient workflows systems and procedures across all administrative functions
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with students families and staff
  • Provide support for Reception and the General Office handling queries calls and visitor interactions in a professional manner
  • Oversee the delivery of exceptional customer service to all stakeholders

About You

  • Proven experience in office coordination or administration leadership ideally in an educational or not-for-profit setting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a warm and professional manner
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and time management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and school administration systems (experience with SEQTA and / Edsmart an advantage)
  • A personal commitment to the Christian faith and alignment with the Colleges values and mission
