Job Summary

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist
Location: Gastonia NC
Duration: 13 Weeks (with possible extension)
Shift: 4x9 Hour Day Shifts
Pay Rate: $2595 Weekly Gross

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join a dynamic medical imaging team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in interventional radiology procedures using advanced imaging technology and demonstrate a strong commitment to patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist physicians in performing interventional radiology procedures using advanced imaging systems.
Operate and maintain radiology equipment ensuring proper calibration and safety compliance.
Prepare and position patients for procedures explaining steps and ensuring comfort and safety.
Manage sterile fields and prepare instruments contrast media and supplies for each procedure.
Monitor patients during and after procedures documenting and reporting any changes in condition.
Collaborate with medical and nursing teams to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality imaging results.
Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to all departmental protocols and regulatory requirements.
Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
Proficiency with Phillips and GE equipment required.
On-call rotation: 1 day per week (5:00 PM 7:00 AM) and every 6th weekend (Friday 7:00 PM Monday 7:00 AM).

Certifications & Licenses:

Active ARRT Registration (Radiologic Technologist).
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
