Job Summary

Description

The Director ofAccounting is responsible for overseeing the correct and accurate recording of transactions on the general ledger for MHMR funds and all associated business lines and component units. Reporting to the Controller this position will oversee a team of staff to assist with responsibilities and to ensure transactions are recorded in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and the governmental accounting standards board (GASB) standards. This position is responsible for the financial integrity of the balance sheet and income statement for MHMR.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree
Defined Education: Accounting
Preferences: Masters degree in Accounting; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license; General Ledger accounting experience
Years Experience: Four (4) years
Defined Experience: Accounting Finance or Business related field
Supervisory Experience: Three (3) years
