FLIGHT SPECIALIST

Reporting to: Flights Team Lead
Job Purpose:
We are seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Flight Specialist to join our team. As a Flight Specialist you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service to our passengers ensuring their travel arrangements are seamless and efficient.
What will be your key responsibilities
- Ticket Sales and Reservations:
Assist passengers with booking flights selecting seats and managing their travel itineraries.
Process ticket purchases payments and refunds.
Manage reservation changes cancellations and upgrades. - Queue Management:
Manage and prioritize customer requests within a queue system.
Respond to inquiries and requests in a timely and efficient manner.
Ensure all customer requests are addressed and resolved promptly. - Customer Service:
Provide personalized and efficient customer service resolving inquiries and addressing passenger concerns.
Handle customer complaints and escalate issues as needed.
Ensure a positive and memorable travel experience for all passengers. - Fare and Routing Knowledge:
Stay updated on fare structures special offers and routing options.
Provide accurate and comprehensive information to passengers regarding flight options and pricing. - System Proficiency:
Be proficient in using reservation systems ticketing software and other relevant tools.
Maintain accurate records of passenger information and travel details. - Communication and Collaboration:
Communicate effectively with passengers colleagues and other departments.
Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure a smooth and efficient passenger experience.
What are we looking for
- Candidates must have 2 years experience in Flights customer service or similar function
- Candidates must have excellent verbal & written English communication skills
- Candidates must have an In-depth knowledge of airfares and routing
- Candidates must have intensive experience with GDS
- Candidates must have strong time management and organizational skills
- Candidates must have proficiency in efficient time management and adept task prioritization
