Job Summary
Midday Assistant Grade 2 - 10 hours per week 38 weeks per year.
Location: Grange Community Nursery and Primary School
Salary: Full Time Equivalent salary 24412 (actual pro-rata salary 2777)
Hours: 5 hours per week // 5 days per week // 38 weeks per year
Contract: Fixed Term until 31st August 2026 in the first instance
The governors of Grange Community Nursery and Primary School would like to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Midday Assistant to join our innovative and nurturing team. This position is to commence as soon as possible and will be temporary in the first instance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring that lunchtimes are an enjoyable and safe experience for all the children so that they are physically and mentally prepared to learn during the afternoon.
- The safety welfare and conduct of pupils during lunchtimes in classrooms dining room playground and when moving from one area to another.
- Preparing the dining room for school lunches and clearing away afterwards.
