What I Will Be Doing:

As a Support Worker in a day program and respite setting I will empower customers to live as independently and confidently as possible supporting them in developing daily living skills maintaining their health and well-being and staying actively connected to their community.

I will support customers in day-to-day life including personal care and health needs.
I will facilitate engaging group activities art music swimming gardening or drama.
I will build strong respectful relationships with customers and their families.
I will be working with people with intellectual disability high physical support needs or complex behaviours.
I will use my skills in manual handling PEG feeding administering medication and providing transport.
I am flexible to work on a rotating roster preferably from 9:00 am 6:00 pm weekdays and days/nights on weekends.

As a Northcott Support Worker youll provide personalised meaningful support to customers in a day program or respite setting. No two days are ever the same one day you could be leading a creative art session and the next you are helping with daily living tasks to support independence and well-being.
