Job Description:
Summary: The Supplemental Instruction (SI) Graduate Assistant will work with the SI Coordinator to assist in administrative duties that include managing leader schedules tracking leader semester responsibilities administering ongoing-training modules collecting session/attendance data and observing student leaders. The GA will also assist the SI Coordinator in planning and running the pre-term training event and any other duties that may come along.
The GA will also be expected to collaborate with SI student Admins in performing all of their duties.
Preferred qualities include: Highly organized; understanding of the SI model and its role to the larger office of Student Success; have excellent verbal and written communication skills and is able to provide quality feedback; have a passion for mentoring and/or managing others; ability to handle multiple projects at a time; proficiency in Microsoft Office and a desire to become a competent user of Navigate and Ignite; and the ability to create presentations and train others via presentations.
