So what are we looking for
We are seeking a skilled AV Systems Support Specialist to join our team supporting a high-profile multi-floor audiovisual installation. This role involves commissioning maintaining and servicing advanced AV systems across three floors including secure environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation a proactive approach to support and the ability to work independently while collaborating with remote resources.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in thecommissioningof AV systems to gain familiarity with the environment.
  • Provideongoing supportfor a service agreement
  • Maintain and troubleshoot AV systems including:
    • Barco TruePix .9 Video Walls
    • Barco CTRL routing systems
    • Cisco and AMX-controlled conference rooms(large medium small)
    • Poly all-in-one systems
    • SCIFs with multiclass switching
  • Respond todaily service calls performbreak/fixtasks and installreplacement equipment.
  • Provideconference supportas needed.
  • Access and troubleshootDSP and control systems with remote support from CTI programming resources for code or DSP changes.
  • Continued Barco CTRL and other industry training as necessary to support the environment
Technical Requirements:
  • Basic understanding ofnetworking including:
    • Route/switch fundamentals
    • Layer 3 switches
    • DNS configuration
  • Ability to log into and navigateDSP and control systemsfor diagnostics.
  • Willingness to attendBarco CTRL trainingin Atlanta.
Security Requirements:
  • Must hold anactive Secret clearance.
  • Must be willing to undergo a7-year DCSA background investigationforTop Secret clearance.
  • Top Secret or higher clearanceis a strong plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience supportingBarcoCiscoAMX orPolyAV systems.
  • Familiarity withSCIF environmentsandmulticlass switching.
  • Experience withAV system commissioningandservice supportin secure government or enterprise settings.
  • Certifications such asCTSCTS-D orCTS-I.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills acrossDSPcontrol systems andnetwork infrastructure.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple service requests.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
