Job Summary

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer Applications to join our systems development team. This role involves designing coding and maintaining scalable efficient and high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong programming expertise across multiple languages and frameworks collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams and contribute to agile development cycles.

Key Responsibilities:

Write efficient maintainable and scalable code in PHP TUI Moodle Lucee Cold Fusion Java C JavaScript and SQL.
Diagnose and resolve software defects promptly and effectively.
Collaborate with designers product managers and QA engineers in cross-functional teams.
Participate in peer code reviews providing constructive feedback to improve code quality.
Complete assigned tasks within agreed-upon timelines while maintaining high standards.
Actively contribute to sprint planning and deliver on commitments during agile cycles.
Provide clear and concise documentation for code APIs and system designs.
Follow coding standards guidelines and best practices consistently.
Ensure applications perform well under various conditions and scale effectively.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.
Proficiency in PHP TUI Moodle Lucee Cold Fusion Java C JavaScript and SQL.
Strong understanding of coding standards best practices and software development lifecycle.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience developing and maintaining enterprise-level applications.
Familiarity with HRMSD or similar systems.

Work Environment:

This position is based in Denver/Lakewood CO. Remote work is not indicated for this role.

Clearance Requirement:

Must hold or be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
