Job Description
As the Maintenance Group Leader you will be responsible for a small to medium group of maintenance employees. You will manage the maintenance and repair of plant equipment and facilities aligned with standard GM maintenance systems in addition to the following responsibilities
- You will conduct appropriate checks and tests and communicate evaluation of results
- Recommends solutions to problems
- Responsible for preventative maintenance and diagnosis of equipment malfunctions
- Meets schedule and quality requirements
- Complies with the terms of local and national labor agreements
- Implements divisional and corporate policies and safety and good housekeeping practices
- Maintain frequent contact and collaboration with others outside of the work group
- Responsible for the effective use of personnel material and equipment
- Establishes a course of action to accomplish completion of the job and/or project. Has knowledge and ability to implement GMS principles
On Site: This position requires to work on site on a full-time basis
Temporary position with a duration of 18 months
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree: Mechanical Engineer Electrical Engineer Mechatronic Engineer and all Engineering related or related experience.
-Required experience in similar position: from 2 years or more.
-Available to change shifts (4x3)
- English proficiency: Intermediate level required.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience working with Allen Bradley PLCs and FANUC robots
- Experience in OPEX and REDEX projects
