Job Description
Utilizing project management tools and methodologies leads projects from inception to closeout managing the scope schedule and cost. Also manages existing programs that utilize both internal and external labor sources. The technical complexity budget number of internal and external parties involved and risk to the company (i.e. financial public reputation) increase as you move across the progression. Projects range from small scale (capital or non-capital) projects to large scale this role projects have a distinct beginning and end. There are typically no direct reports; rather people and other resources are indirectly managed as part of a project team.
Focus is to employ basic project management skills which could include but not be limited to the following:
Assist in developing the project strategy and supporting business cases
Adjusts project scope timing and budgets of projects and programs if needed
Communicates project strategy and direction
Tracks key project milestones performance and recommends adjustments
Assist in creating updating tracking short- and long-term budgets
May participate in negotiations with guidance.
Associate Project Manager Requirements
- AA from an accredited college or university in a field of study that is relevant to the required knowledge skills and abilities.
- BA/BS in construction management project management or a related technical field preferred.
- Valid drivers license.
- Associate level project management certification (I.E. Certified Associate Project Management (CAPM)) preferred.
- 1 year relevant experience. Construction or project management experience preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of key operation business process and core applications.
- Ability to interpret and explain complex business processes and concepts
Hiring Range: $74610.72 - $96621
Project Manager I Requirements
- BA/BS from an accredited college or university in a field of study that is relevant to the required knowledge skills and abilities
- Requires valid drivers license
- Professional level project management certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM) Design Built Institute of America (DBIA) or equivalent project management certifications desired or the ability to obtain within one year required.
- 3 years relevant experience including 1 year of construction or technical project management experience
- 3 years of construction or other technical project management experience preferred
- Manage a team and personal dynamics to effectively drive projects forward
- Lead project meetings
- Develop creative and innovative solutions
- Build relationships with internal/ external stakeholders
Hiring Range: $84939 - $110421
Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Hybrid work options may be available for this role. The successful candidate will be required to work at our Spokane office at least 3 days per week including Mondays and Tuesdays with additional day(s) determined by the manager.
