Position Summary
The Restaurant Manager will support the existing Aspen Hospitality portfolio of hotels and support new hotel openings. This role is responsible for the training of new Food & Beverage leaders and line level staff and is a resource for all properties as needed. The Restaurant Manager is responsible for maintaining financial profitability high service level excellent guest response and upkeep of the restaurant and bar operations at assigned location. Additional responsibilities include setting up floor hands-on management during service payroll and administrative duties and on-going training. This role is designed for a project management mindset combined with an extensive background in managing Food and Beverage in luxury and lifestyle hotels. This position reports to the VP of Food and Beverage.
The salary range for this position is $80000 - $85000. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience; all our salaried roles are eligible for bonus.

Essential Job Functions/Key Job Responsibilities
Responsible for training and coaching employees maintaining a positive atmosphere and upholding restaurant service standards
Assist in interviewing selection training and retention of employees
Produce weekly schedules according to budget and forecasted numbers
Responsible for the financial success of the operation
Conducts daily inspection of restaurant and equipment to ensure compliance with health safety food handling and hygiene standards
Manages inventory and purchases food and supplies
Complete and assign daily preparation lists
Communicate with onsite General Manager as needed regarding inventory ordering and menu details such as pricing information
Ensures customer satisfaction with all aspects of the restaurant and dining experience
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Education & Experience Requirements
2 years of management experience in a Food Service environment required
Hospitality management related degree preferred
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of purchasing scheduling and payroll systems required
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Proficient written and verbal communication skills English skills Spanish a plus
Knowledge of food handling safety and other restaurant guidelines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent time management skills
Strong supervisory and leadership skills
Ability to manage difficult or emotional situations whether they be customer or employee related
Ability to work under stressful circumstances
Ability to delegate work to others
Proven strategic ability to manage multiple high priorities and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
Additional Information :
Work Environment & Physical Demands
Ability to be on your feet kneel and bend for extended periods of time
Regularly work in adverse conditions and requiring the use of protective apparel/equipment to prevent exposure to the elements as well as an office environment and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces
Must be able to lift push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance
Job may be performed indoors and outdoors with visits to construction sites
Frequent travel to jobsites and existing hotels is required
