Responsibilities
- Design develop and deliver scalable maintainable and high-performance software solutions.
- Refactor and optimize existing codebases applying clean code and modern architecture principles.
- Collaborate closely with developers QA and product teams to ensure that solutions meet both technical and business requirements and quality standards.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the platforms performance security and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews sprint planning and other Agile ceremonies.
- Write and maintain comprehensive unit tests to ensure product quality and reliability.
- Maintain schedule flexibility to adapt to an international team dynamic.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in software development.
- 2 years of experience in PHP JavaScript and NodeJS.
- Hands-on experience with PHP frameworks such as Zend or similar.
- Solid knowledge of AWS services including Lambda API Gateway S3 SQS SNS among others.
- Strong experience with database design and optimization (MySQL or other relational databases).
- Proven experience building and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Solid understanding of unit testing practices and experience writing automated tests.
- Proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows (branching pull requests reviews).
- Experience maintaining and refactoring legacy systems improving maintainability and performance.
- Understanding of best practices for building scalable maintainable and high-performance applications.
- Ability to refactor and modernize legacy code improving maintainability and performance.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Advanced English.

- Experience with
- Experience with Message/queue processing at scale (e.g. AWS Kinesis RabbitMQ Kafka).
- Experience using for backend services.
- Familiarity with Terraform.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker Kubernetes or Rancher.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as AWS CloudWatch and Dynatrace.
