Software Developer | Middleware Platform Development | Experienced Hire

Susquehanna is seeking talented Senior Software Engineers to join our DNA Team which is responsible for processing billions of transactions per day in a real-time high-performance enterprise technology environment. Youll also work alongside most front- and back-office teams to build business-critical systems that decipher normalize and distribute trading data to the firm. As well youll develop real-time trade reconciliation systems that monitor trading activity and escalate issues to the business.

In this role you will:

• You will participate in the design development and implementation of large complex high-performance applications that process large amounts of data with low latency
• You will build mission-critical processes that must meet stringent high-availability and fault-tolerant requirements
• This team participates in all phases of SDLC from initial requirements through final quality assurance with heavy emphasis on domain modeling object-oriented analysis and design and data modeling
• You will work closely with the front office to represent trading workflows

• Applicants should have strong programming skills using object-oriented programming technologies
• Experience with one or more message-oriented middleware solutions (RV MSMQ ActiveMQ Apache Kafka etc.)
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics or related discipline or its foreign equivalent plus 7 years of progressive experience developing software applications using an object-oriented language. Relevant experience can be substituted for education
