The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Companys Human Resources (HR) Operations Hiring Contingency Delivery organization is currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Manager for the Drug Free Workplace (DFW) drug and alcohol testing program in Mesa AZ.
This role will serve as the subject matter expert on drug and alcohol testing regulations policies and industry standards ensuring compliance and promoting a safe and healthy work environment. The ideal candidate will manage the DFW Program team serve as a key liaison between the company and Department of Transportation Agencies including the FAA and FMCSA serving as the primary Designated Employer Representative (DER) oversee the development and implementation of DFW policies and training and collaborate with key stakeholders across all business units.
Position Responsibilities:
Act as the primary expert on federal drug and alcohol testing regulations policies and industry standards providing guidance and support across the company
Fulfill the responsibilities of the Senior Designated Employer Representative (DER) providing oversight and support to alternate DERs and primary point of contact to federal agencies
Establish oversee and maintain programs and processes to ensure compliance with federal regulations such as Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) contractual requirements (NASA Department of Defense) and company policies and procedures
Provide policy guidance and administrative support to various business units and functions to ensure alignment with drug and alcohol program standards
Collaborate with Human Resources Labor Relations and other stakeholders to develop implement and administer DFW policies
Assess the impact of regulatory changes on the organization and implement necessary policy and process changes to ensure compliance
Select and manage various process suppliers including collections testing and medical review services to ensure effective program delivery
Manage and develop the DFW program staff fostering a culture of compliance and continuous improvement
Develop and implement company-wide DFW training and education content to promote awareness and understanding of DFW policies
Develop department budget plans and oversee expenditures to ensure financial accountability and resource allocation
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Mesa AZ.
BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5 years of experience leading and/or managing Drug Free Workplace programs
5 years of experience with FAA Drug Abatement program inspections investigations and inquiries
3 years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher
Certified instructor for Breath Alcohol Technician training and Urine Drug Screen Collector training
Experience administering non-regulated/company drug and alcohol testing programs
Experience developing and delivering drug and alcohol program training to managers HR and employees
Experience conducting FMCSA Clearinghouse performing annual queries
Experience developing and implementing process improvements
Experience in Microsoft Excel Word Internet and use of data systems in order to monitor and track compliance activities and provide work status and reports
