Job Summary
As a Software Prototyper you will investigate new technologies prototype concepts build frameworks for benchmarking human performance and drive technical development needed to bring ideas to life. You will work on a wide array of sensing modalities such as image/video multi-touch and force sensing. Our team works closely with multidisciplinary teams in engineering and design to deliver actionable insights to drive key decisions for Apple products including Mac iPhone iPad Vision Pro and more.
- Experience developing interactive prototypes or applications.
- Experience working with sensor data such as image video input devices audio etc.
- Knowledge of software architecture design patterns particularly for real-time sensor processing and interfaces.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science Interaction Design Human Computer Interaction or related field.
- Experience building interactive prototypes with machine learning technologies.
- Proficiency with scripting data processing data visualization and/or numerical analysis.
- Experience working with human researchers to establish critical research tracks interpret results and apply learnings to product development.
- Algorithm and mathematics fundamentals in statistics signal processing machine learning and state machine design.
- 3 years experience working in a relevant field.
- Masters or doctorate degree in computer science human-computer interaction interaction design or other relevant area.
