Position Summary

The facility is seeking an experienced and compassionate Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner to join a dedicated patient-centered team in Bronx NY.

Essential Position Responsibilities

• Evaluate diagnose and manage patients presenting with a wide range of urgent and non-emergent conditions.

• Perform procedures such as suturing splinting wound care abscess drainage and medication administration as appropriate.

• Order interpret and follow up on diagnostic tests including labs X-rays and EKGs.

• Prescribe and manage medications consistent with clinical guidelines and best practices.

• Provide patient education and counseling on diagnosis treatment plans and preventive health measures.

• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to ensure coordinated high-quality care.

• Document all patient encounters accurately and promptly in the electronic health record (EHR).

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (MSN or DNP).

• Licensure & Certification: Active or eligible Nurse Practitioner license in New York; national certification required.

• Experience: Prior urgent care emergency medicine or primary care experience preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply.
