Full-time Press Brake Operator

Key Responsibilities
- Operate press brake machines to bend form and shape metal components according to specifications and blueprints

- Read and interpret technical drawings blueprints and work orders to determine job requirements
- Perform precise measurements using various measuring tools to ensure accuracy of bent parts
- Inspect finished products for quality consistency and adherence to specifications
- Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on press brake machines and related equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and workflow
- Assist in training new operators and sharing knowledge with colleagues
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality
- Maintain accurate records of production activities material usage and machine maintenance
- Adhere to all company policies procedures and quality control standards
Qualifications
- 2-10 years of experience as a Press Brake Operator in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Proficiency in operating various types of press brake machines including CNC-controlled equipment
- Strong understanding of metal fabrication techniques materials and processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings blueprints and work orders
- Excellent mathematical skills for precise measurements and calculations
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and inspection techniques
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in metal fabrication is a plus
