What Youll Do

Weld broken tools machine parts jigs and fixtures using appropriate welding methods.
Operate automatic welding machines safely and efficiently.
Perform TIG welding and aluminum brazing.
Weld or braze components using oxy-acetylene GTAW GMAW or other processes as needed.
Set up work from prints drawings or fixtures and select welding sequences to minimize distortion.
Ensure all welds are leak-proof and conduct final inspections of your work.
Maintain bench stock supplies and keep work areas clean organized and safe.
Apply basic machine skills and mechanical assembly techniques.
Perform additional duties assigned to support production and maintenance needs.

What Youll Need

Certified Welder (Required).
High school diploma or GED; technical or vocational training is a plus.
13 years of welding/fabrication experience preferred.
Knowledge of welding techniques metal fabrication and blueprint reading.
Strong manual dexterity attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to exercise judgment to perform duties safely and accurately.
Lift up to 50 pounds; push/pull up to 70 pounds.
Stand for extended periods and bend/twist as required.
Machine shop setting with potential exposure to dust sand and dirt.
Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
