Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will:
- Maintain high standards of learning and teaching assessment and reporting.
- Continuously refine teaching strategies and activities using student feedback and assessment data to improve lesson plans and delivery.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the Design and Digital Technology curriculum through to VCE.
- Potential subjects included in allotment are VCE Applied Computing - Software Development Cyber Security and Networking Game Programming and Digital Technologies.
- Demonstrate a strong sense of teamwork and collegiality and plan collaboratively with teaching teams.
- Contribute to Professional Learning Teams.
- Have excellent knowledge of contemporary approaches to teaching including proficiency in utilisation and integration of technology within the classroom.
- Set high expectations to create a safe inclusive and supportive classroom culture fostering creativity and problem-solving.
- Model and live the Braemar College values and behaviours.

- Design and deliver learning experiences that combine theory and practice for concepts including robotics drones coding new and emerging technology and much more.
- Have a tertiary teaching qualification that enables you to teach Technologies.
- Show a willingness andthe capacityto contribute to the wellbeing of students.
- Display innovation in curriculum and collaborative learning approaches.
- Be a current VIT registered teacher.
- In addition the preferred applicant will have an understanding of and a commitment to the ethos of independent schooling as well as a willingness to contribute to College events and adhere to the Colleges Child Safety Policy.
