Braemar College is an independent co-educational ecumenical school for students in Years 5 to 12. Position:

Braemar is seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Technology teacher. At our college we foster a culture where equity excellence and personalised learning are at the heart of everything we do.

• This position is full-time and ongoing.
• Commencing 23 January 2026.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will:

• Maintain high standards of learning and teaching assessment and reporting.
• Continuously refine teaching strategies and activities using student feedback and assessment data to improve lesson plans and delivery.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the Design and Digital Technology curriculum through to VCE.
• Potential subjects included in allotment are VCE Applied Computing - Software Development Cyber Security and Networking Game Programming and Digital Technologies.
• Demonstrate a strong sense of teamwork and collegiality and plan collaboratively with teaching teams.
• Contribute to Professional Learning Teams.
• Have excellent knowledge of contemporary approaches to teaching including proficiency in utilisation and integration of technology within the classroom.
• Set high expectations to create a safe inclusive and supportive classroom culture fostering creativity and problem-solving.
• Model and live the Braemar College values and behaviours.

• Have an enthusiastic approach to the education of young people including a focus on developing skills and underpinning knowledge.
• Design and deliver learning experiences that combine theory and practice for concepts including robotics drones coding new and emerging technology and much more.
• Have a tertiary teaching qualification that enables you to teach Technologies.
• Show a willingness andthe capacityto contribute to the wellbeing of students.
• Display innovation in curriculum and collaborative learning approaches.
• Be a current VIT registered teacher.
• In addition the preferred applicant will have an understanding of and a commitment to the ethos of independent schooling as well as a willingness to contribute to College events and adhere to the Colleges Child Safety Policy.
