Junior Data Analyst- Permanent Full-Time
BWG Foods is seeking a Junior Data Analyst to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent data science graduate to begin a career in data analytics within a dynamic retail environment. Youll be supported by experienced analysts and will contribute to data-driven decision-making across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in collecting cleaning and preparing data from various sources including EPOS systems.
Support the analysis of retail trends and performance metrics.
Help create visual dashboards and reports using tools like Excel and Power BI.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to data presentations for internal stakeholders.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of data processes.
Learn and apply data validation and cleansing techniques.
Collaborate with team members and third-party vendors on data-related projects.
Monitor data quality and flag inconsistencies or gaps.
Job requirements
Experience & Education:
Analytical and interpretive skills
Highly organised and methodical with excellent attention to detail
Strong mathematical ability
Detailed knowledge of data analysis and relational database software to include Microsoft SQL Diver BI R studio and Excel
Excellent communication skills
Team player
