Job Summary

For more than 70 years we have been a trusted provider of relationship and community services across South Australia and we continue to play a leading role within the Relationships Australia Federation nationwide.

Following the retirement of several long-serving Executive leaders we are seeking an experienced and strategic Executive Manager Intensive Counselling and Support Services. This pivotal role provides both strategic and operational leadership across RASAs intensive counselling trauma recovery and gambling help services including supports for people affected by institutional and out-of-home care child sexual abuse adoption donor conception and victims of crime.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive and as a key member of the Executive Team you will ensure the delivery of high-quality evidence-informed services that promote access inclusion and improved wellbeing outcomes for clients and communities.

You will lead service design policy development workforce capability and stakeholder engagement while supporting organisational growth and innovation. A central part of the role is ensuring that programs are effective sustainable and aligned with RASAs strategic direction values and commitment to excellence.

You will also contribute to a service culture that:

  • prevents and heals the impacts of family and institutional violence
  • strengthens cultural safety for clients and staff
  • upholds the rights voices and wellbeing of children including where children are not the primary client

About You

You are an experienced human services sector leader and bring:

  • Extensive leadership experience in the human services sector including trauma-informed inclusive and evidence-based program delivery.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification (AQF Level 7 or above) in human services or other relevant discipline or the equivalent knowledge skills and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading intensive counselling multidisciplinary teams and contributing to rigorous service design implementation and evaluation.
  • Experience supporting people affected by trauma including those who have experienced abuse separation from biological family gambling harm or crime-related harm.
  • Proven success in developing and implementing new business opportunities and managing complex programs across multiple service areas in the context of sector partnerships and lived experience advocacy.
  • Experience in managing complex client matters and multidisciplinary service challenges
  • Demonstrated experience in working effectively with funders government agencies and sector partners to achieve shared outcomes.
  • Proven capacity to ensure high-quality service delivery through the effective use of accurate data reliable evaluation and research evidence to guide decision-making performance reporting and accountability.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading organisational change and driving continuous improvement processes.
  • You will have a commitment to collaboration and joined up service delivery and organisational systems including working with people with lived experience relevant to the service portfolio.
