A high-achieving secondary school in Braintree (Essex)is seeking an experienced and analytical Geography Teacher with expertise in Human Geography particularly focusing on urban and rural transition from January 2026.

• Geography Teacher required from January 2026

• Seeking a specialist to lead the development of Human Geography topics utilizing the local area for relevant case studies and fieldwork.

You will teach Geography across KS3-KS5. The role includes planning lessons that develop complex analytical skills related to population economic change and land use preparing students for challenging university courses. A key part of the role is organizing and leading mandatory fieldwork.

Experience and Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Geography.
• Proven ability to secure high grades at A-Level Geography.
• Extensive experience in planning and leading safe and effective fieldwork.
• Willingness to contribute to academic enrichment programs such as geographical debate clubs.
