Kick-start your energy career at Axpo Iberia. Apply your Python/SQL skills build solid forecasts and datasets and deliver clear reports that support smart procurement decisions in a dynamic data-driven environment.
What you will do:
- Generate initial forecasts under the guidance of experts
- Prepare reconcile and document datasets for aggregated forecasts
- Update and adjust consumption profiles using approved templates
- Produce deviation cost reports and operational alerts
- Support market reporting (prices curves milestones) and data integrations
- Assist in client training on nomination processes
What you bring & who you are:
- Bachelors degree in Mathematics Economics Engineering or related; 12 years in data/forecasting/energy analysis (must-have)
- Practical skills in SQL and Python (ETL/cleaning via notebooks) plus Excel and Power BI (must-have)
- Basic forecasting concepts data validation and outlier detection; version control (Git) (must-have)
- Ideally familiarity with Iberian energy systems and rules (OMIE REE/REN nominations) and domain drivers (demand weather/calendar effects)
- Ideally exposure to data pipelines reporting templates and AWS (e.g. S3 Lambdas)
- Detail-oriented accountable and proactive communicator who enjoys learning with experienced colleagues
