The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a Graduate to Senior-level Geo-Environmental Engineer to work across a variety of complex high-value schemes. You will be part of a forward-thinking technical team that supports the investigation assessment and remediation of contaminated land helping to bring challenging brownfield sites back into sustainable use.
Key Responsibilities
Plan coordinate and execute site investigations (including soil groundwater and gas monitoring)
Prepare and review factual and interpretative reports risk assessments and remediation strategies
Supervise contractors during site works ensuring health safety and environmental compliance
Conduct sampling logging and in-situ testing to assess contamination and ground conditions
Liaise with clients consultants and project managers to deliver accurate timely technical input
Support the development and implementation of remediation methodologies and verification works
Assist with environmental monitoring and reporting throughout the project lifecycle
What Youll Bring
Degree in Geology Environmental Science Geotechnical Engineering or a related discipline
Experience in geo-environmental investigation remediation or contaminated land assessment (graduate to senior levels considered)
Strong understanding of ground conditions laboratory analysis and environmental legislation
Confident report writer with excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites nationwide
A proactive and professional approach with a focus on safety and quality
