Were recruiting for a respected UK contractor delivering major remediation earthworks and enabling works projects across the country. Youll be part of a team that plays a key role in transforming brownfield land into new developments and infrastructure with a strong focus on sustainability and technical excellence.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer who wants variety responsibility and real project exposure combining technical problem-solving with practical on-site work and nationwide travel.
What Youll Be Doing
Youll support the delivery of a wide range of remediation and civil engineering projects working alongside experienced engineers and project teams.
Your day-to-day will include:
Planning and carrying out site investigations (soil groundwater and gas)
Supervising site works and ensuring health safety and environmental compliance
Conducting sampling logging and in-situ testing
Supporting the design and delivery of in-situ and ex-situ remediation solutions
Preparing technical reports risk assessments and remediation strategies
Working closely with project managers consultants and clients to deliver high-quality outcomes
Youll spend much of your time out on live project sites across the UK so this role suits someone who enjoys variety teamwork and being part of visible progress on the ground.
Who Were Looking For
Based in or around Warrington / Cheshire / North West
Degree in Geology Environmental Science Civil Engineering or a related field
Experience in site investigation remediation or contaminated land assessment
Enjoys hands-on practical work and travelling to sites across the UK
Strong technical reporting and analytical skills
Positive proactive attitude with a focus on safety and quality
Full UK driving licence essential
