Were recruiting for a respected UK contractor that delivers large-scale remediation earthworks and enabling works projects nationwide. Youll be part of a team that transforms contaminated land into new developments and infrastructure working at the heart of regeneration and sustainable construction.
This is a great role for someone who wants a mix of technical problem-solving and practical hands-on engineering combined with the freedom to travel and learn from some of the most experienced specialists in the industry.
What Youll Be Doing
Youll gain exposure to a wide range of environmental and civil engineering projects working alongside experienced site and project teams.
Your responsibilities will include:
Planning and carrying out site investigations (soil groundwater and gas)
Supervising works and ensuring site safety and environmental compliance
Conducting sampling logging and in-situ testing
Supporting the design and delivery of in-situ and ex-situ remediation
Preparing technical reports risk assessments and remediation strategies
Working closely with project managers consultants and clients
Youll spend much of your time out on site travelling to projects across the UK so this suits someone who enjoys variety fresh air and being part of visible progress on the ground.
Who Were Looking For
Degree in Geology Environmental Science Civil Engineering or a related field
Experience in site investigation remediation or contaminated land assessment
Enjoys hands-on practical work and travel across the UK
Strong report-writing and problem-solving skills
Positive proactive attitude with a focus on safety quality and teamwork
Full UK driving licence essential
