Job Summary

RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR. REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years of experience Traveler Experience: NOT REQUIRED Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes Skills: CVOR experience; Certs: BLS PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: ACLS level 1 trauma that the candidate be proficient in scrubbing Cardiac cases however not required. JOB DETAILS: Ratios: 1:1 Shift: 10 HR Day 4x10-Hour (06:15 - 16:45). Call Requirement: 4 10-hour shifts M-F will call on the days scheduled there could be a week they would work 5 days if the come in on their call weekend. 2 days a week and every third weekend. For an average of 14 call days per 6 week schedule. Float Requirement: to main OR on same campus if no volume in CVOR. Weekend Requirement: Call shift every third weekend **Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed. PATIENT DIAGNOSES: CABG AVR MVR TVR Aortic Dissection TAVR Laser lead extractions Aortic Root Carotids Thoracic cases Pericardial window ECMO Impella. UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication Documentation Communication): Pyxis EPIC SBAR SCHEDULING TYPE: manager determines UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 hours SCRUBS: provided blue
