Advantra is partnering with a Series A AI-native CPG SaaS startup in New York to hire a Head of Talent to build and lead the recruiting function and attract top-tier talent across the company.
About the role:
You will own full-cycle recruiting implement analytics to optimize hiring and partner with hiring managers to ensure the team scales effectively. You will set the foundation for talent acquisition processes and strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end recruiting across all functions.
- Build and maintain a high-performing hiring pipeline.
- Implement analytics to track and optimize hiring funnel performance.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand team needs and priorities.
- Design and execute recruiting strategies aligned with company goals.
- Improve candidate experience and ensure a consistent interview process.
- Advise leadership on talent planning and hiring decisions.
- Drive employer branding initiatives to attract top talent.
Core requirements:
- 3 years of recruiting experience at early-stage startups.
- Proven track record of progression and expanded recruiting scope.
- Experience managing full-cycle recruiting for multiple roles simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of recruiting analytics and performance tracking.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to influence and partner with executives and hiring managers.
- Demonstrated success attracting top-tier talent in competitive markets.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced high-growth environment.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Willingness to work onsite in NYC full-time.
Nice to have:
- Experience building recruiting functions from scratch.
- Familiarity with AI or SaaS companies.
- Expertise in data-driven recruiting and funnel optimization.
- Knowledge of CPG or retail industry hiring dynamics.
- Experience with employer branding initiatives.
