Job Summary
Job Summary Cloud Security Engineer
- Design and implement secure integrations of security products within cloud infrastructures (AWS Azure GCP; GCP preferred).
- Develop maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and secure software delivery.
- Automate and improve security monitoring and processes addressing gaps in existing workflows.
- Conduct security assessments vulnerability scans and threat detection activities.
- Collaborate with partner teams to integrate security during cloud infrastructure implementation.
- Apply DevSecOps best practices to cloud management and security.
- Utilize Terraform and knowledge of Landing Zones to ensure robust cloud controls.
- Work with container orchestration (Kubernetes: EKS AKS GKE) helm charts and GitOps tools (FluxCD preferred).
- Implement network security measures (Firewalls Proxy).
- Leverage programming/scripting skills (Python/Go) for automation.
- Communicate complex security concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with industry security standards and frameworks (NIST ISO 27001 OWASP).
- Operate within Agile development practices.
- Must be local and able to work a hybrid schedule (3 days/week onsite).
- Cloud security certification required.
