Job Description & Skill Requirement:
To design and develop new products used for wireless control and monitor of lighting devices
To perform New product testing as per the test plan
To review and optimize the performance of DUT to meet datasheet specification
To perform desense analysis to optimize the RF link budget
To characterize antenna parameters and optimize the performance for different installation
To support manufacturing team in production testing of RF parameters
To perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of the RF protocols used for communication like BLE Thread ZigBee Wi-Fi Proprietary with respect to real world scenario
To work with Firmware engineers to optimize the overall system performance
To test and qualify new technologies and chipset that could be used in future products
To perform run analysis from production line and optimize the test duration or test limits accordingly
Skillsets required:
Good understand of RF basics in communication system
Good understanding of operation of RF SoC for Sub-GHz operation and 2.4GHz ISM band application
Good experience on antenna measurement and characterization
Good understanding of RF protocols like ZigBee Wi-Fi BLE Thread or proprietary protocol
Understanding of Receiver diversity application
Good Understanding of operation of Radio driver from bits to antenna & back
Experience in Radiated emission testing and pre-compliance testing (FCC/ETSI)
Good experience in analysis of Mesh protocols and mitigation techniques in case of performance hit
Good problem solving and analytical reasoning skills
Good in soldering and equipments like Vector Network Analyzer Spectrum Analyzer Vector Signal Generator
