Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides skilled nursing care within the ICU adapting to fluctuating unit needs. This role requires proficiency in ICU nursing the ability to float between similar units and a commitment to working alternating weekends potentially exceeding that frequency based on unit requirements.
Location:Mission Viejo California United States
Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in the ICU setting.
- Perform patient assessments medication administration and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
- Float between similar units as needed.
- Document patient care and related duties appropriately.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license.
- ACLS certification.
- BCLS certification.
- NIH Stroke Scale certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of ICU nursing experience.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience with Epic charting.
Special Considerations:
- Must be willing to work a minimum of every other weekend with the potential for more frequent weekend shifts.
- May be required to float to other facilities.
- RTO (request time off) must be included at the time of submission.
- The facility may call off staff once per two-week pay period.
Scheduling:
- Work schedule and shift type not specified.
- Weekend shifts required frequency may vary.
