Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled DLP Security Analyst to oversee the daily monitoring and administration of our enterprise Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solution. This role is critical in maintaining the integrity of our DLP environment responding to system alerts and collaborating with stakeholders across IT Network Operations Infrastructure and various Business Groups.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide daily monitoring care and administration of the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) environment.
Configure manage and report on DLP tools including policy creation and adjustment.
Respond to and resolve alerts generated by DLP and other security technologies.
Collaborate with Service Managers IT Operations Network Operations Infrastructure teams and Business Groups to ensure DLP effectiveness.
Partner with vendors to troubleshoot issues implement upgrades and support DLP technology enhancements.
Follow established incident response processes including event escalation and resolution.
Respond promptly to escalations from the Incident Response Team.
Perform routine maintenance and updates for the DLP system in alignment with process requirements.
Complete additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum 2 years of hands-on operational experience with DLP technology including implementation policy development rule creation and analysis of expressions and policy drivers.
Experience with DLP tool administration including policy configuration upgrades and patch management.
4-6 years of experience supporting Information Security Technology solutions.
Effective verbal and written communication skills; proven ability to convey technical information clearly.
Strong independent research and troubleshooting abilities for technical issues.
Solid social communication and technical writing skills.
Preferred Experience:
Demonstrated expertise in Data Loss Prevention (DLP) technology support and event handling.
