Job Summary

Job Description: We are looking for an **** Audiogram technician ****Certified Medical Assistant Job Responsibilities

Position Purpose:
Provide support to the Occupational Health Nurse by performing duties related to the occupational hearing conservation program injury and illness prevention clerical and any other health service duties under direction of the OHN.

Qualifications/Education/Experience Required:
Medical Assistant Diploma or Certification
Occupational health experience preferred
Certification in CPR and CAOHC-approved Occupational Hearing Conservation Certification

Job Accountabilities:

1. Injuries/Illnesses
Provide minor first-aid for injuries/illnesses
Assist OHN with follow-up care and off-site appointments as needed

2. Conduct Audiometric Testing for Neenah Cold Spring employees
Daily calibration of audiometer
Review test results with employees and refer abnormal findings to OHN
Conduct 30-day retesting as needed when changes are noted
Consult department safety leaders for dosimetry readings when requested by OHN
Keep on going list of employees that are due for hearing test and assist OHN with providing the departments with updated list.

3. Complete mandatory CMEQ Comprehensive Medical Evaluation Questionnaire and Clearance on all operators and maintenance employees referring all Yes answers to the OHN.
Measure vital signs
Review and record employee history in the electronic medical record database
Refer abnormal findings to OHN
Schedule employee follow-up appointments with company Nurse Practitioner as needed

4. Provide general office duties
Included but are not limited to answering phones report generation records management processing mail and miscellaneous facility assigned tasks.

5. Maintain current knowledge of K-C Health Services OHN policies and procedures.
Ensure all medical practicing license and certifications remain current

6. Assist employees as needed with contact information to Matrix for STD and FMLA.
