Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

The Details
This is a large team win a fast-paced hospital environment which clinicians treat a variety of diagnoses with a common mix of orthopedics neurological behavioral health and critical care caseloads.
Speech Language Pathologists with at least one (1) year hospital acute experience and experience in the NICU are encouraged to apply along with new graduates with strong acute clinical externships. Schedule is flexible with weekend requirement and one major/minor holiday per year. Hourly rate with weekend and holiday rates as worked.

The Requirements
- Degree from an accredited school approved by CAA.
- Current state licensure or eligibility in Speech Language Pathology in Maryland.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Has one (1) year clinical experience preferred but would consider candidates with experience in the home health inpatient or skilled settings as well.
- Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association.
- Will display strong skills in flexibility time management leadership and communication.
- Focuses on the patient and providing the utmost in customer service excellence.
- Experience with documentation utilizing EMR.
The Responsibilities
- Speech Language Pathologist SLP will deliver quality speech services according to treatment plans.
- Documenting progress toward identified objectives.
- Provide accurate and timely documentation utilizing EMR platform.
- Conducting patient and family education.
- Display strong skills in flexibility time management and communication.
- Superb Customer Service Excellence.
