The Role:
Looking for self-starter individuals who can establish an entrepreneurial setup for scaling up the channel and positively influence both internal & external stakeholders to partner with them around the business needs of the channel.
Core Responsibility:
- Responsible for leading & execution of Ecommerce channel strategy at Pidilite
- Develop & improve systems infrastructure and networks to achieve superior E-commerce consumer service
- Identify & develop product and platform opportunities for scaling up Ecommerce business.
- People & Stakeholder management will be a key responsibility
The above deliverable to be achieved by:
- Managing Ecommerce Platforms through:
- Designing platform level strategies around Product portfolio performance marketing and customer acquisition & retention.
- Managing Best in class Customer relationships and ensuring a holistic shopper experience in all relevant Ecommerce platforms
- Onboarding & finalising Terms of Trade with all relevant platforms.
- Maximise annual joint business plan partnerships with top platforms aimed towards joint working on category & business growth.
- Develop understanding of MT Customer’s operations & marketing systems & develop plans to leverage those systems
- Develop and oversee the execution of all online marketing programs and initiatives to drive sales and profits including: Paid search SEO email marketing affiliate marketing retargeting and online analytics.
- Design and execute all Marketing plans on Ecommerce
- Design platform level marketing programs & brand marketing campaigns to drive sales & profits
- Engage to run all performance marketing campaigns while balancing spends and maximising returns.
- Use Ecommerce as a test bed for new products design test strategies and refine assets basis results.
- Lead understanding of the online shopper for better customer acquisition conversion and retention strategies.
- Develop Monthly Quarterly & annual calendar for business plans budget spends margins and revenue plans.
- Assist category and product managers in designing Brand inputs and Merchandising keeping Modern trade nuances in mind especially plans to promote niche category products.
- Develop KPI for business analytics campaign performance measurement user experience input performance conversions and spends optimisation.
- Manage Operations systems & network design for Ecommerce
- Deliver best in class Account servicing through optimised lead times & OTIF deliveries.
- Develop better back-end technological capabilities for faster accurate & efficient order servicing & monitoring.
- Accurate channel sales forecasting to effect improved stocks availability & better fills.
- Own and manage channel margins optimising channel costs receivables management account reconciliations & budgeting process.
- Impact cross-functional teams to realign systems for smoother functioning of Ecommerce- manufacturing Operations packaging IT enabled systems Design and Logistics.
- Maximising Opportunities of new products & categories
- Customize Pidilite portfolio towards ecommerce channel & customer preferences.
- Pick market trends & competition performance to identify potential products/categories to enter with Ecommerce led presence
- Explore & capture opportunities in the B2B space for bazaar business division products.
- Utilise customer review & ratings to improve product & packaging offerings.
- Track competition activities in terms of product demand generation activities and trade activations.
- Identify competition actions which might impact our business and propose mitigation plan.
Required Qualifications:
- High emotional intelligence and positive mindset
- Ability to negotiate & tie-up with prominent ecommerce platforms
- 5-6 years of consumer-facing digital and eCommerce experience. Understands both the physical and digital shopping experience and how they support/drive each other.
- Understanding of omnichannel eCommerce best practices including SEO KPI development and performance tracking and product development.
- Track record of building and maintaining effective working relationships across Marketing Sales Customer Service Finance and Operations and other cross-functional partners. Must be able to collaborate with multiple business stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven -depth understanding of Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Strong understanding of digital media planning parameters and measurement criteria (must have hands on experience with Google Analytics)
- Strong time management and ability to oversee multiple projects at one time.
- Ability to wear multiple hats including digital marketing user experience merchandising and analysis
