Job Summary

Position : Product Development Engineer

Experience : 5 to 12 years( 6 years of experience in mechanical product design and development)

Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Master’s Degree preferred.

Salary 6 – 15 LPA

Location : Kochi

Responsibilities:

Lead the design development and validation of new power connector cable assemblies products and related accessories.
Capture customer requirements into the product design.
Drive concept generation mechanical and electrical design verification and qualification testing.
Support defining and executing verification and product qualification test plans.
Conduct and lead technical reviews including Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis
(DFMEA) Tolerance Stack-ups Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and design

validation.

Requirements

Expertise with CAD software: Creo (mandatory) SolidWorks familiarity a plus.
Proficient in FEA tools such as ANSYS.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes including injection molding
Solid understanding of mechanics of materials.
Strong knowledge if DFM and DFA.
Experience with PLM systems (Windchill).
Knowledge of product design methodologies: GD&T DFM DFMEA
