Part-Time Dishwasher

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Steward properly clean store and maintain all washable items within a sanitary and safe working environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Operates dishwashing equipment to ensure adequate supplies of clean and sanitary tableware at all times.

• Maintains personal hygiene and sanitation standards as established by Health Department.

• Follows proper food storage handling and preparation standards.

• Adheres to established Ecosure standards.

• Maintains a clean and safe work environment through regular floor maintenance trash removal proper storage of equipment and cleaning of Dish area prior to the end of each shift.

• Handles and uses chemicals needed to clean and sanitize tableware in a safe manner.

• Complete all training requirements.

• ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma/GED preferred.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITY

• Experience in and passion for consumer service

• Willingness to learn new skills and be a team player

• An attitude of flexibility and mindfulness about the team approach

• Clean and clear service areas

• Follow proper procedures as disclosed in Standard Operating Procedures as explained to staff

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

• N/A

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Regular walking standing lifting up to 50lbs bending stooping climbing etc.

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:

• Performs tasks and duties under direct supervision using well-defined policies and procedures. Work is reviewed by supervisor. Limited opportunity exists for exercising independent judgment and decision making.
