About the Role:
The Branch Administrative Supervisor (BAS) is primarily responsible for performing advanced administrative industry and professional support functions for the Branch Management addition the Branch Administrative Supervisoris responsible forassistingwith supervision of the branch support staff including onboarding trainingdevelopmentand ongoing associate communication. The position also includes planningdirectingand organizing the branchs administrative workdevelopingand recommending branch procedures and researching and completing special projects.This position will require a comprehensive understanding of ClientSpecialist(CS) functions and expectations.
The Impact Youll Make:
- Performs the daily responsibilities of a CS by providing strong interpersonal service to clients prospects and associates.
- Responsible for the employment life cycle including interviewing and onboarding or off boarding of branch associates.
- Responsible for in partnership with the Branch Administrative Manager and Financial Advisors ongoing associate development through the performance management process. Facilitates setting associate goals and ongoing monthly performance coaching toestablishproper career addition ensures alignment of goals with branch and FA business plans.
- Ensures associates are aware of PWM branch initiatives andcommunicatesadministrative and operational topics to staff plans andleadsmonthly staff meetings.
- Supervises and evaluates the work of the branch support staff. Prioritizes work assignstasksandmonitorsprogress.
- Schedules support staff work hours and time off to provide adequate coverage for the branchs varied assignments andmanagestimecard approvals. May act as backup to staff filling in where necessary.
- Resolves problems and interprets policies procedures and guidelines for staff.
- Performs other duties and specialprojects asassigned.
- Potential to supervise up to 10 branch office support staff.
- Responsible for various administrative tasks supporting the branch management checkrequest bookingtravelsubmittingbusiness expenses facilitiesrequestsetc.
What Youll Bring to Baird:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors degree preferred.
- Must be SIE Series 7 63/65 or 66 licensedwithin1 year.
- 3 years of industry experience as a registered client specialist or comparable role experiencestronglypreferred.
- Knowledge of advanced sales support functions.
- Strong organizational skills - ability to prioritize and delegate branchs daily workflow to effectively organize tasks/peoplein order toachieve specific goals.
- Consistentlydemonstrateseffective follow-thruandhigh qualityperformance.
- Proficiencyand experience with Microsoft Office (Word ExcelPowerpoint) and all PWM technology and productivity tools.
- Ability to work well in and effectively lead a team.
- Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communications skills
- Superior analytical skills with a focus on detail.
