(Hybrid Europe or US Base)

Transform Global Leadership Talent into a Competitive Edge

This is not a purely operational HR role; its a strategic mandate to evolve Randstads most critical asset: our executive leadership pipeline. Were hiring an executive to move beyond traditional programs designing and executing a modern data-driven leadership ecosystem that directly fuels our global growth strategy and mitigates executive talent risk.

Summary: We seek a VP Head of Executive Talent Management to own the global strategy design and execution of our C-suite succession planning executive assessment and high-potential development framework directly advising the ELT on talent and leadership succession.

This is a Vice President-level leadership role within the Global Talent Center of Excellence requiring exceptional strategic foresight a hands-on execution mindset and demonstrable influence at the C-Suite level.

Location & Time Zone Flexibility (Europe or US)

This role sits within a Global Center of Excellence (CoE) demanding high connectivity with global executive leadership across multiple time zones.

  • Employment Type: Full-Time Permanent

  • Work Arrangement: Remote (Requires twice yearly presence in the Netherlands at our Global HQ for critical ELT/Board interactions and global meetings)

  • Time Zone Requirement: Strong preference for candidates based and legally eligible to work within GMT CET or EST timezone that facilitates seamless global collaboration across key markets.

Key Strategic Areas Youll Own

What will the VP Head of Executive Talent Management deliver You will be the predictive engine and trusted advisor for all executive talent decisions.

1. Executive Succession & Risk Mitigation (The Strategy)

  • Core Achievement: Set the global strategy and realize a next-generation executive talent management framework.

  • Key Deliverable: Establish a predictive integrated succession strategy that actively mitigates talent risk for critical positions ensuring a diverse ready pipeline.

  • C-Suite Influence: Lead and facilitate data-driven executive talent reviews presenting readiness and potential insights directly to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT).

2. Advanced Assessment & Capability Forecasting (The Data)

  • Core Achievement: Define and evolve Executive Success Profiles for critical roles and own the full global assessment strategy.

  • Expertise Required: Deep expertise in psychometric tools and assessment debriefing. Must be certified in at least one psychometric tool.

  • The Future: Champion the use of advanced analytics and ethical AI for predictive talent modeling segmentation and future capability forecasting.

3. High-Value Talent Interventions & Coaching (The Execution)

  • Core Achievement: Drive deep engagement and readiness for executive successors.

  • Key Focus Areas: Own the global strategy for executive coaching curating a world-class roster and designing a transformative executive onboarding and integration framework for newly appointed senior leaders.

  • Culture Impact: Establish a global framework for enhancing team development and effectiveness at the executive level ensuring culture catalyzes strategic objectives (e.g. engagement retention).

What You Need to Succeed

We require a highly credible leader who can transition seamlessly from strategy design to direct executive counsel.

Required Experience (Non-Negotiables):

  • You must have led enterprise-wide talent strategy and succession in a multinational company actively managing high-potential development and critical roles.

  • Proven experience as a strategic Talent CoE leader supporting top executives including advising the C-Suite on organizational change and talent decisions.

  • Track record of building relationships and influencing without direct authority across global teams and leadership.

  • Experience in leading assessment strategy managing vendors and personally debriefing complex assessment results with senior leaders.
