Job description
Help us make an amazing impact on our children by teaching them important skills through sports! Youll laugh. Youll break a sweat. And youll go home at the end of the day knowing that you made a difference.
We are looking for a full time sports coach to travel to our centers and teach the children (ages 2-5) about soccer and other age-appropriate sports or sport-related skills. This is a new program so we are looking for someone who has experience and great ideas to help us create the curriculum
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Must love kids and have a passion to impact them (loving soccer is a bonus)!
- Dependable: Must be willing to commit to at minimum one year of coaching with Amazing Explorers; we need an honest and true commitment.
- Responsible: Arrives on time; comes prepared with lesson plan memorized; can handle a group of 10-12 young children (ages 2-5); well organized.
- Professional: Neat in appearance; friendly and courteous with daycare/school staff and directors and parents; self-assured and confident.
- Enthusiastic: Must enjoy interacting with young children (25 years old); able to connect with children and communicate on their level. You must be very outgoing animated and able to be silly with the children. There is no room for shyness or reserved behavior; we need ENTHUSIASTIC instructors!
- Soccer or other athletic / sports experience: Soccer experience is desired but no special coaching license is required.
- Reliable PERSONAL transportation and valid drivers license
- High School Diploma
- FL State-Required Clearances: Candidate must pass DCF Level 2 background check
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
HOURS: Monday through Friday: 8:30-5:30
