What We Are Looking For

The Manager People Success Business Partner manages a team of People Success Business Partners (PSBPs). Monitors the consultation strategic guidance and operational support provided to designated departments and leaders. Leverages in-depth knowledge of the organization and HR/People Success practices to support coach and develop PSBPs in their roles. Ensures that People Success strategies workforce planning and talent-related initiatives are aligned with organizational goals and evolving business needs. Establishes and maintains frameworks to analyze trends monitor compliance and identify opportunities to enhance employee experience and organizational performance. Partners with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to develop coordinate and implement enterprise-wide programs communications and engagement strategies. Facilitates consistent collaboration between PSBPs and business leaders to drive effective solutions and positive outcomes.

Schedule: 4 days per week 10 hours per day Tuesday - Friday 7:00 am - 5:30pm Location: Brier Clinic San Bernardino CA

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DELIVERABLES

  • Lead coach and develop a high-performing team of People Success Business Partners.
  • Provide direct supervision to assigned staff including conducting regular bi-weekly one-on-one meetings and facilitating quarterly development planning sessions to establish documented SMART goals and track measurable growth.
  • Responsible for achieving team departmental and organizational goals.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to directors managers and chiefs providing workforce solutions employee relations support and organizational
    development guidance.
  • Partner with leaders to manage workforce growth tied to new clinic openings department expansions and ongoing organizational change initiatives.
  • Lead or support workforce planning initiatives including department restructures staffing models and succession planning efforts.
  • Align business partner strategies and interventions with business priorities and proactively partner with leaders to address workforce needs.
  • Revise and compose new job descriptions profiles and recommend evaluations.
  • Consult on job requisitions promotions or staffing changes annually collaborating closely with Talent Acquisition Compensation and leadership teams.
  • Administer and manage the organizations compensation program. Ensure internal equity and consistency in administering job evaluations and compensation programs.
  • Lead the implementation of people-related services policies and programs delivered through People Success Business Partners.
  • Oversee the execution of core People Success programs such as performance management engagement and leadership development.
  • Achieve completion of performance conversations ensure compliance with program timelines and improve engagement survey participation and satisfaction year-over year.
  • Contribute to an annual engagement score increase implement new process improvements per year and support leadership in culture and engagement initiatives.
  • Foster a positive inclusive culture and implement process improvements that enhance the People Success function.
  • Review develop revise and implement People Success policies across the organization; maintain and update the employee handbook.
  • Audit review and ensure compliance for all People Success policies practices and documentation affecting hundreds of employees annually.
  • Monitor workforce trends provide actionable insights and ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies.
  • Responsible for managing the interactive process ensuring accommodations or restricted work assignments are thoroughly documented.
  • Deliver quarterly people analytics reports on time resolve compliance issues with zero legal findings or penalties and maintain audit readiness.
  • Administer processes and report people-related metrics that support the achievement of the organizations business goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources Employment Law Business Administration Organizational Development or a related field required. Masters degree in Human Resources Employment Law Business Administration Organizational Development or a related field.
  • Licensure/Certification: Valid CA Drivers License and auto insurance required. Professional in Human Resources (PHR / SPHR) Certified Professional (SHRMCP / SCP) certifications preferred.
  • Required Experience: Five (5) or more years of progressive experience in Human Resources or People Operations with a focus on business partnering employee relations workforce planning or organizational development AND three (3) or more years of experience in a leadership or management role directly supervising HR Business Partners or equivalent roles. Demonstrated success in aligning people strategies with business objectives and driving organizational initiatives. Proven experience partnering with senior leadership and department heads to influence decisions and deliver solutions. Strong track record in workforce planning compliance change management and organizational effectiveness.
  • Preferred Experience: Working in a complex multi-site organization or healthcare/nonprofit environment. Leading HR transformations system implementations or strategic workforce initiatives. Coaching and developing HR professionals and fostering a consultative solution-oriented team culture experience.
  • Essential Technical/Motor Skills: Must have strong technical skills including proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite to streamline processes and maintain accurate data. Analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential for interpreting HR data and resolving complex issues. Capability to mine and utilize data to test and prove business-related hypotheses and support decision-making is crucial. Effective communication skills are necessary for interacting with stakeholders while adaptability to change and project management experience contribute to driving organizational effectiveness. Being tech-savvy and able to find answers to technology-related questions and challenges is important. Compliance with employment laws and regulations is also crucial.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills to build relationships at all levels of the organization. Strong verbal and written communication active listening empathy and emotional intelligence are essential for understanding concerns resolving conflicts and fostering trust. Collaboration and teamwork are crucial for working with cross-functional teams. Effective negotiation and persuasion skills help influence stakeholders and drive consensus on HR initiatives. Communicate clearly offer constructive feedback respect diverse inputs and participate in employee engagement activities. Show curiosity use logical reasoning for decision-making and be open to partnering with others. Adapt
    to shifting priorities troubleshoot obstacles and assist others with a willingness to learn and an open mind.
  • Essential Mental Abilities: Ability to analyze coordinate and control multiple functions and activities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to drive decisions.
  • Work Eligibility: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Must not now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visas.
