Job Summary
Key duties and responsibilities
The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for:
Day to day support of on-prem and cloud services including
Management of Data Centre compute backup and storage infrastructure
Zscaler Internet Security
SIEM and Vulnerability management tools
Azure IaaS and PaaS environments
AD and Entra ID
Oversee and assist in the implementation of system hardening patching and vulnerability management in line with federal government security frameworks.
Assist in developing and implementing a team workplan
Work with development and architectural teams to plan design implement new products and migrate services to cloud.
Identify opportunities for improvement in environments or processes
Drive the delivery of project outcomes in a timely efficient and operationally effective manner
Ensure the Data Centre & cloud environments are optimised for Austrades needs and are cost effective
Liaise with external parties to manage product installations maintenance enhancements and support work
Consult and provide advice and assistance to management users external organisations and IT staff as required.
Skill sharing ensuring skills transfer and mentoring of staff to support career and technical growth
