Position Overview
Prime Response Inc. is in the proposal phase seeking a highly experienced Warehouse Manager to lead and oversee a potential warehousing operation with a strong preference for candidates familiar with Department of the Navy systems and logistics. This role is critical to ensuring efficient compliant and mission-ready warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage day-to-day warehouse operations ensuring alignment with Department of War and Department of the Navy standards.
- Utilize Navy-specific systems to support warehousing needs and maintain compliance with federal regulations.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams government stakeholders and external partners to ensure operational transparency and coordination.
- Monitor and manage cost schedule and performance metrics to optimize warehouse efficiency and meet program objectives.
- Supervise and motivate warehouse staff fostering a culture of safety accountability and high productivity.
- Apply risk management policies and assessment methodologies to identify and mitigate operational risks.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing warehousing operations within the Department of War; Department of the Navy experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in Navy logistics systems and warehousing protocols.
- Proven ability to manage teams and communicate across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Strong background in performance management cost control and scheduling.
- Knowledge of risk management practices and experience implementing mitigation strategies.
- Active Secret Clearance required.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with DoD logistics software and inventory systems.
- Experience working in a government contracting environment.
- Leadership training or certifications in logistics or supply chain management.
